Boy, do I have a treat for you guys. I have created a Paleo Sausage stuffed apple recipe perfect for fall.
1 lb Sausage
1 T Coconut Oil
1 Celery Stalk
4 Sage leaves
Maple Syrup (pour to sweetness preference)
1/4 t Black Pepper
1/4 t Salt
This super cool recipe is dairy free!
Drop 1 tablespoon coconut oil to a skillet.
Add chopped celery and onions, cook until golden brown.
Add sausage and sage leaves and cook until brown.
Season with salt and pepper.
Next- core your apples!
Fill apples with sausage mix.
Top off with your desired amount of maple syrup.
Arrange apples in a baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes,
until heated through.
