It's mid-March and about time I share another organic recipe for your #HumpDayTreat. St.Patty's just passed and I've been seeing lots of snaps about the Shamrock Shake. Before you run to McDonald's for that minty green goodness, lemme throw some facts:
In ONE MEDIUM sized shake you are consuming 660 calories, 19 grams of fat (29% RDV), 12 grams of saturated fat (61% RDV) and a whopping 93 grams of sugar. And what about that cool mint flavour? High fructose corn syrup, Corn syrup, Water, Sugar, Xanthan gum, Citric acid, Sodium benzoate (preservative), Yellow 5 and Blue 1. According to an author from BambooCore Fitness, Yellow 5 is banned in Norway, Finland and France and Blue 1 is Banned in Norway and Austria.
THIS IS SO BAD. Try this healthy alternative.
