It's a week away from SB2K15 and by now you have to be sick of eating salads everyday. You are also probably trying to avoid carbs at all costs, just keep in mind that a healthy dose won't kill you! (Everything in moderation!) This quick and easy-to-make sandwich is a great way to mix up your lunches; and it will keep you energized to make it through the rest of the day!
What You're Gonna Need:
Alvarado St. California Style Complete Protein bread
Black Forest Ham
Fresh Baby Spinach
Before placing it on a skillet, I put my bread slices in the toaster to lightly toast it. Next, spread a light layer of coconut oil (in place of butter) on the outside of the slices. This is to prevent sticking to the pan, and to conduct a little more heat. Use your own desired amount of ingredients! For this sandwich, I split one slice of cheese in half, and placed one on each slice of bread. Then, I layered the spinach, one slice of ham, sliced 3 pineapple chunks into smaller slivers, and topped it off with the other piece of bread and cheese. Finish by placing the sandwich on a skillet set to Medium-High heat, frequently flipping until the cheese is melted.
