As we all know, it is almost officially fall – which means holidays, parties and lots of food! If it’s not burgers and beers at tailgates, then it’s turkey, stuffing and more different types of desserts than you can even count. The delicious, yet calorie-packed pumpkin spice latte is back, your grandma has named you honorary pie taster, and on top of everything else, the gyms have started to enforce the most inconvenient hours of operation. So before you start stressing over how to maintain your perfectly toned summer bod, here are some simple steps to follow to help you avoid wearing your “fat pants” on New Year’s Day.
Hello again friends! Over the past couple weeks it has come to my attention that fall is by
far the least healthy season. Between the endless amounts of left over Halloween candy,
the pumpkin spice lattes, and the smorgasbord of food we call Thanksgiving dinner;
calories begin adding up quickly. While pondering this idea I began weighing my options
of being healthy/feeling good vs. treating myself to some of the seasons special treats.
But why not have both? To my surprise, I found many different homemade snacks that
are health conscious but still festive. Here are a couple recipes I found that might be
helpful when staying healthy this season, including my personal favorite the No Bake
Pumpkin Spice Latte Bites (which just happen to be gluten free as well).

Enjoy and snack on (with little to no regrets)!
With the air getting cooler, your skin is inevitably going to get drier. Here are some steps that will help you dodge dull skin in the Fall and Winter and keep you looking luminous.
1. Moisturize- Having hydrated skin is the most important step to keep your skin looking fresh and healthy in the cooler months. Going for a bit of a thicker face cream- or even a serum will save your skin from getting dry and flakey. DO NOT skip this step if you have oily skin (like me). Keeping you're skin moisturized will actually lessen the production of oil on your face and keep it healthy. -
2. Prime- Using a dewey finish primer underneath your foundation will make you look radiant, like you're glowing from within. Plus, primers will help you're makeup last longer throughout the day and give you're skin a smooth finish.
3. Highlight- Highlighters can transform your skin and make a drastic difference. This step is best for people with naturally dry skin because highlighters are the most noticeable and they might be a little too much for people who get oily throughout the day. With formulas ranging from liquid to powder theres something for everyone.
4. Set with spray- Completing your beauty routine with a setting spray is not only a great way to lock you makeup in all day, but also gets rid of the appearance of powder and adds to step one by moisturizing your face.
