Blossoming flowers, blue skies, and Sunday poolside study days has finally arrived and it might be the proper time to officially announce that Spring has sprung! Put your sweaters in the back of your closet and bring forward the endless amounts of overflowing yet so dainty Free People dresses and blouses you’ve been dying to wear since last spring. Oh wait, you don’t have an endless amount of Free People dresses? Is that just me? Am I officially a Free People addict? Well if you (sadly) don’t have an infinite number of this amazing brand, let me confide in you, please. If I don’t confide in you then I’ll definitely have to pour my heart out to my therapist, which I simply refuse to do since there is no way in h*ll I’m paying her to hear my Free People addict problems. So let me word vomit to you in a few very simple words as to why you need to hop on this Free People train and trust me to be your conductor. Here are my Free People confessions which I hope will be yours too:
1. Free people is brand that embraces and especially encourages the free spirit life.
Whether your planning a weekend afternoon picnic at Lake Ella or dropping into your favorite yoga studio, Free People will be there for you in any adventure you’re about to embark on.
2. Free People goes with ANYTHING.
Remember those shoes you got last month that you still haven’t worn because you’re just waiting for that “perfect” outfit? Um, well I’m just letting you know that you should try throwing on a shirt or dress from Free People and tell me then that’s its not the absolute most wonderful outfit.
3. Free People is one of the most consistent brands.
When you hear the words “free spirit” or “bohemian”, don’t you automatically think of Free People? Since 1984 Free People has built an image off of “femininity, courage, and spirit” which has remained constant throughout these past 32 years and counting. Regardless of the occasion, if you want something that caters to you in a confident way, you can always count on Free People.
4. Last but not least, Free People just launched a retreat program to cater to the die hard free spirit lovers, which is music to my hears.
This new experiment that Free People put together is called, FP Escapes, and it is dedicated to the souls who want to better their mind, spirit, and body. Ranging from various locations such as Montana to Peru this seems to be an opportunity of a life time that just screams “click me and please sign up”.
Hope to see my fellow Free People addicts there!
For those of you who don't follow King Ky, her snapchat game has really stepped up. Really. In fact, this is my first post ever about the Kardashians. Her latest snaps had me laughing out loud for real, in fact I may have shed a tear or two. Here are my top 5 favorite moments of her latest snapstory:
1. Realizing the Old Woman was Khloe
Khloe went all out Mrs. Doubtfire in order to pull of this stunt. Most celebs are content with some shades and a hat. Look at those wrinkles! This is probalbly what she'd look like if she aged naturally and that assumption makes these photos even better. I'm going to keep em around and see if my prediction is right in 40 years.

Many have commented that although he has perfected complex roles over the past two decades, he has never outdone the acting of his contenders. Maybe it’s a string of bad luck, but is the only reason Leo finally won, because none of the other nominees were able to compete with his grisly portrayal of Hugh Glass in The Revenant? He also hasn’t had it easy over the years; he’s lost to other amazing actors like Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, and (most recently) Matthew McConaughey. Or, maybe The Revenant was the turning point of his career. It’s a story about a man, Hugh Glass, who while leading a fur trading expedition is forced to survive in the cruel winter, injured after a bear mauling attack. And if things couldn’t get worse, his crew leaves him for dead. The beautiful cinematography of winter in the movie is paralleled with the gruesome survival story Leonardo DiCaprio’s character has to endure. Perhaps, in the Academy’s eyes, this was his magnum opus, a role that’s very description elicits a win.
“broke the internet”.
But, through the chaos of it all, while I was crying tears of joy, he used such a pivotal moment in his life to warn us about climate change and how it effected the production of The Revenant. Maybe, he was meant to win for this movie, not because he’s not phenomenal in all the others, but he had a story to share with the world. Regardless of the reason, he won his well-deserved Oscar, and in doing so, he also implemented the idea of global climate change into the minds of the viewers. Did I also mention he looked amazing while doing so?
