Fashion and music run parallel in importance and significance at huge music festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, and many more. When planning your outfits for these amazing multi-day concerts make sure to find unique pieces that stand out, but are also comfortable for long days outside and on your feet! Sunglasses, flowy tops, head pieces, bohemian accents, and layered jewelry are always "go to's" during this season. Below is a look book video I made during Music Midtown a few months ago where artists such as Lana Del Rey, Eminem, Bastille, Lorde, John Mayer and more preformed. The video features outfits my friend and I wore during the incredible, two day concert event in Atlanta, Georgia. Enjoy!
Just in case you missed the much anticipated red carpet arrivals at the 2015 Oscars...don't worry! Here is a quick recap of my personal favorite. The top 5 best dressed celebs this year!
Style icon and star of Birdman, and best supporting actress nominee looks effortless in this glamorous gown by Ellie Saab.
This Aussie Wolf of Wall Street star, looks absolutely flawless in this sultry Saint Laurent gown. The gown paired with a tassel statement necklace and bold lips makes Robbie look like the ultimate movie star.
Supporting actress in Insterstellar and Zero Dark Thirty, Chastain sports a navy Givenchy gown by Riccardo Tisci. Her navy gown accentuates her womanly figure, pale complexion, and gorgeous red locks.
50 Shades of Grey star, Dakota Johnson, looks classic in this red, floor-length gown by Saint Laurent. The dress itself is almost too simple, but the crystal embellished strap, and dark makeup adds the perfect amount of glamour that is fitting for the red carpet.
Not looking a day over 30, and nominated for her performance in Wild, Witherspoon looks timeless in her white and black Tom Ford gown.
Find your joy. Then do it. Be it. Live it.
I think it's safe to say that Winter is pretty much over here in the Sunshine State! With that said, we are all itching to finally get tan, and the last thing on our minds is anything SPF-related. We need every ray we can get! While it's important to wear sunscreen all over, it is especially important to protect our faces. If skin cancer doesn't scare you, then I hope that wrinkles do! Living in Florida makes wearing a daily SPF especially vital.
When it comes to taking care of my skin, I don't mind paying a little extra for products that keep it in tip-top shape. In this post, you'll find my daily face regiment, including my favorite products I use to keep my skin healthy!
It's a week away from SB2K15 and by now you have to be sick of eating salads everyday. You are also probably trying to avoid carbs at all costs, just keep in mind that a healthy dose won't kill you! (Everything in moderation!) This quick and easy-to-make sandwich is a great way to mix up your lunches; and it will keep you energized to make it through the rest of the day!
What You're Gonna Need:
Before placing it on a skillet, I put my bread slices in the toaster to lightly toast it. Next, spread a light layer of coconut oil (in place of butter) on the outside of the slices. This is to prevent sticking to the pan, and to conduct a little more heat. Use your own desired amount of ingredients! For this sandwich, I split one slice of cheese in half, and placed one on each slice of bread. Then, I layered the spinach, one slice of ham, sliced 3 pineapple chunks into smaller slivers, and topped it off with the other piece of bread and cheese. Finish by placing the sandwich on a skillet set to Medium-High heat, frequently flipping until the cheese is melted.
